While addressing unresolved trauma can be a scary thought, one should consider the impact of not addressing their trauma adequately. There are a plethora of responses the body will endure if trauma is continually disregarded. In addition, hyper vigilance, suicidal ideation, self-harm, feelings of extreme anger, and dissociation can occur as well.
